Tarin Wilson, President of plan A, has more than twenty four years of experience in event production and is known for her detailed execution and ability to produce flawlessly and gracefully. Tarin has managed and produced corporate and fundraising events, sporting events, retail events, auctions, film premieres, store/restaurant openings, ad journals, and corporate meetings. Since launching plan A in 2000, she has built a boutique company that maintains an 85% client retention rate with an impressive roster of corporate and non-profit clients. From 2005-2009, she agreed to license, finance and produce A Soolip Wedding and was responsible for its growth and attracting national luxury brand sponsors.

Tarin began her career in New York as the Special Event Coordinator for Louis Vuitton USA. She then served as an independent consultant to clients such as Hallmark, “Dirty Dancing: The Concert Tour” and Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations before joining Gucci America as Manager Public Relations and Special Events. At Gucci, Tarin organized and managed promotional events for 25 stores across the country, ranging from charity functions to fashion shows to new store openings.
After relocating to California, Tarin served as Event Director for the Northern California Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Director, Special Events and PR for Education First!, a non-profit organization rooted in the entertainment industry. She produced benefit events for Education First! at the opening of Planet Hollywood Aspen and the opening night of “Tommy” at the Universal Amphitheater. Prior to starting her own business, Wilson was an independent contractor with Kidd & Company.
Her recent philanthropic pursuits have focused on the orphans of the Ukraine - included raising funds for a playground, hosting children in her home and visiting orphanages during her many trips to the country. Her Russian is improving with each trip. Tarin has also been a mentor with Step Up Women’s Network. |
